About us
Creative Industries, the familiar name of these days of economic literature is rooted in the changes and developments of the socio-economic system of the 1980s and before that, the communication and information revolution. since the economic advantage of societies shifted from hard industries to soft industries. The meaning of being different, useful, and productive in the fields of knowledge, art and culture became the drivers of the economies of nations and became the cause of competitive advantage. Therefore, we along with the developments of global economy and Iran’s capacities, we sought to identify and plan the development of the creative economy, so much so that today we firmly believe that the country’s economic development in the new century will pass through the development of the creative economy. Among these, the most important fuel needed is neither labor nor human capital, but creative capital, and in order to produce creative capital, there is no way to break the border between the university and the market and create the basis for the formation of these capitals from both scientific and practical dimensions. To achieve this goal, we gained experience in both wings, so that in the knowledge and science wing, the Faculty of Art and Tourism Entrepreneurship in 2012 and with interdisciplinary disciplines of humanities and arts such as art economics, urban economics and cultural entrepreneurship In the master’s degree and for the first time in Iran, we set up in Isfahan University of Arts, and the experience of teaching, guiding and consulting several master’s theses and several doctoral dissertations prepared this wing to form a research institute in the field of creative economics. Experimental and practical wing, by holding several entrepreneurship festivals in different Nowruz , slowly created another path for the formation of an institution for commercialization and trade of creative industries. On the other hand, for the development of these two wings, which are necessary for each other, and for the production of various capitals, especially creative capital, we seek the design, operation and development of capital gardens , and for this purpose, two parent institutions, one for scientific nutrition and the other for Practical nutrition, these gardens were established in 1396.
“Armanshahr Creative Economics Institute” and “RoshanKhaneh-Mashghe-Honar Institute” with the mission of increasing the value of creative capital and scientific and practical nutrition of capital gardens and with the idea of “not seeing the sights and not seeing the invisible” as a pioneering private center in both scientific and practical Creative economics were born. Armanshahr Creative Economics Institute has two important departments, one is the Creative Economics Research Center for research and theoretical and applied development of Iran’s creative industries, and the other is the School of Creative Economics for training creative human capital. Both departments are obtaining the necessary licenses from the responsible institutions, but until obtaining the license, they have continued their continuous and continuous activity and have started one of their most basic applied studies in a two-year program: One is the presentation of the “Creative Industries Classification Pattern” which identifies the types of creative industries And another, “Providing statistical models of ISIC, CPC, ISIC for different types of creative industries”. In other words, it seeks to define in a complete and comprehensive way: What are creative goods and services? What are the types of creative activities? And what are the types of creative jobs? On the other hand, the compilation of the collection “Books of Creative Economics from Basics to Examples” is the medium-term mission of the Institute for the Enrichment of Theoretical Literature of Creative Economics, which has reached the halfway point and its first two volumes will be published in the spring of 1400.
We believe that the development of Iran’s creative industries requires a precise and correct redefinition of the business ecosystems in the field of creative industries and wants a burden to network in this ecosystem; Therefore andishkade has compiled a strategic planning document for creative industry ecosystems in the form of developing creative industry parks called “Capital Garden” and try to implement it in Isfahan.
The design of these gardens will be based on the development capacity of creative industries in the cities and villages of each province. The process of developing a place in these gardens is such that it requires a network of connections between different types of creative industries.
In other words, based on the capacity of the place, a kind of creative industries such as arts are the focus of capital garden planning, but to develop the market and attract the audience, cultural industries such as tourism, media and on the other hand creative services such as research and development, Digital design and services should be added to the Creative Industries Development Network to shape the creative ecosystem cycle of the location.
Roshankhaneh-Mashghe-Honar Institute is the operational center of research and development ideas of the Institute; In other words, the operations department feeds the capital garden. For this purpose, there are two main departments in this institute: one is the design studio “Setrokh” and the other is the Shetab center.
At Setrokh Design Studio, we have recreated today’s Iranian art, especially the forgotten arts in contemporary life, and we have a claim that we can bring Iranian art to the lives of our audiences today. In the studio, we propose a plan for the audience’s lives and implement it with the cooperation of a large network of producers. Each time the studio presents a set of products with a specific idea that has three basic principles, including:
1. Presenting art inspired by Iranian identity based on the conceptualization of collection design
2. The use of Zarbaft art as the Setrokh art in all products
3. Innovation and creativity of the design in the collection of products.
The Roshankhaneh Shetab Center has been established to stimulate the emergence of creative ideas in the field of creative industries, especially handicrafts. With the help of a network of partners, we work with people with artistic ideas or skills to help them enter the art market. In this way, if their capability is in line with Setrokh, in addition to empowering them, we become the investor of their idea, product or skill, and if their capability is commensurate with the activities of our other partners, we introduce to them.
The vision of the Roshankhaneh Shetab Center is based on the fact that Iran’s handicraft development capacities are very large, and if a network of handicraft development stakeholders can be created, each one of them that has a specific role and position, this industry can be Changed. We have traveled to the hometown of many Iranian handicrafts, namely villages, and we still have to travel a lot to find more and use its potential. Many of the artists’ ideas can be implemented in rural areas and can be one of the sustainable rural occupations, and our goal is to accelerate the structure of the handicraft economy based on the network. This is where the importance of having our other partners in the various types of creative industries, including tourism and cultural heritage, information and communication technology, design, media and more, is felt.
Finally, we have started with a belief, and that is the development of the creative economy, the development of the country’s economy. We have tried and will continue to do so to the best of our ability and capacity, and we hope to synergize our strength in a large network of stakeholders in the development of creative industries.
