Harriet Deacon هریت دیکن

هریت دیکن در رشته تاریخ و مردم شناسی در دانشگاه کیپ تاون ، آفریقای جنوبی آموزش دیده است. وی دارای مدرک دکترای تاریخ (کمبریج ، 1994) و کارشناسی ارشد مدیریت حقوق مالکیت معنوی (دانشگاه کوئین مری لندن ، 2016) است. علاوه بر میراث ناملموس ، تحقیقات وی به موضوعاتی چون میراث فرهنگی و قانون در کنیا ، تاریخچه موسسات پزشکی و ننگ و تبعیض مربوط به اچ آی وی / ایدز در جنوب آفریقا پرداخته است. او به عنوان هماهنگ کننده تحقیق در حوزه میراث جهانی – موزه جزیره روبن – کار کرده است و مدیر و موسس سازمان میراث فرهنگی و بایگانی در آفریقای جنوبی بود.
